The Resort

Porto Elounda is set on the beautiful coast of Crete with its Greek and Venetian history and when you’re not relaxing around the pool, taking advantage of the spa or indulging in a scuba lesson, you can explore the island. Take in Chania, with its beautiful Venetian harbor, walk the Samarian Gorge and laze on the beaches along the west coast.
For you
The resort is one of several from this company that’s ideal for the active. Many kinds of sport are on offer such as golf and tennis and you can also take SCUBA lessons. There is a spa on site to wind down with a thalassotherapy pool and a thermal suite including sauna, steam room, bath and caldarium and you can use the fully equipped fitness centre and swimming pools.
For baby
There are spaces all around the resort dedicated to children such as gardens and a playground as well as their own swimming pool. There is a nanny service for the day time and babysitting from 7pm, so that you can visit one of the many local restaurants or take some time to explore the island. Kids have their own dinner time from 6pm and there are of course high chairs provided and a special kids’ menu to satisfy even the most finicky of eaters.
