The Oyster is a really good package and you can add all you need, including a carrycot and car seat, to take you from birth through to the toddler years. The chassis comes in mirror or grey and the fabric in a choice of eight colours. You also get a raincover and insect net.

Seat: The seat unit is large and comfortable, lies flat and is suitable from birth. You can if you wish add the carrycot from birth, which is available separately and because it is fully ventilated, is suitable for overnight sleeping. The seat unit can faces the back or the front and is adjustable to one of three positions. It has a generous canopy with a pull-out visor that protects your baby from wind, rain and sun and offers plenty of coverage. It protects to UV50_+ and there is a mesh panel that allows for improved ventilation in the warmer weather. There’s also an adjustable leg rest and the insect net is tucked away in a little pocket under it, which is a very neat touch. Inside is a five point harness with soft shoulder straps and a head rest and it can be adjusted easily as your baby grows, with no re-threading of the straps. The hood can also be raised as your child grows to allow extra headroom.

Chassis: The chassis is strong and durable, holding up to 20kg, and has an independent suspension system on each of its four large wheels, so it will offer a smooth ride on even quite rough ground. The handle is adjustable to suit any height of parent and has a hand stitched leatherette handle for comfort. The chassis comes in either a mirror (silvery, chrome style) or grey finish which looks stylish. The shopping basket is now larger and easy to access especially when the seat is sitting up and it has a separate pocket inside it for a few special items. The chassis can be folded with the seat unit in place, locks when folded and has a pull-out handle to carry it with.

Wheels: The wheels are removable for easy storage and are made from durable ER-foam which makes them puncture-proof. You can have the front wheels locked or swiveling for nipping around the shops. The brake is located on the rear of the chassis and locks positively.

Extras: Add a car seat to make a travel system and adaptors; add a carrycot; a footmuff and changing bag are also available.
