B Loves: It’s simple to use and value for money

B Aware: The additional carrycot and stand push up the cost a little

Graco have a reputation for great value for money and their pushchairs are economical and come with lots of extras. This is a very contemporary model which arrives with a footmuff and raincover included in the cost. If you like you can also buy a car seat to make a travel system and a carrycot which gives you the option of traveling with your baby. The carrycot can be used for overnight sleeping and has an optional stand to bring the cot up to your bed’s height for night time feeds. Inside it is a good mattress, and it has a hood and apron to protect your little one from wind and showers. The seat unit on the pushchair can be reclined through one of three positions and best of all, it has a completely flat position that is suitable for newborns. The seat unit can be taken off and swapped around to face either you or the world, has a five point harness for safety and the foot rest is adjustable. The chassis is easy to steer on most surfaces and around tight corners in the shops and has good sized wheels and solid tyres, so punctures will not be a problem. The handle does not adjust but is at a comfortable height and feels nice to the hand. The chassis folds with just one hand when you have the seat on facing forwards. It also locks in place. There is a generous shopping basket, which you can access even when the seat is fully reclined. The brakes are easy to see and to use – just push down for on and flip up for off. The seat liner and cosytoes are machine washable and all other fabrics on the pushchair can be sponged.
