Cybex Eezy S Twist review
B Loves: it’s a compact, lightweight stroller but can face the front or the rear and will go in a plane’s overhead locker
Many lightweight strollers are a bit short on functionality but that’s not the case with the Eezy S Twist. It is small enough to be put in the overhead locker on a lane, so it’s great for trips overseas. It can also be used from birth with a couple of accessories and will still hold your child up to four years.
Seat: The best thing about this pushchair is the seat and it’s the major selling point of buying this stroller above another. The seat can face the front or the rear and it can be spun around very quickly and simply whenever you want to change it around. The mechanism that changes the seat’s direction can be used one-handed. The seat itself has a reclining backrest, making it great for naps on the go and it’s suitable from six months. You can also attach a car seat to the chassis, making it a good travel system and this can be used from birth, though make sure that you restrict your small baby’s time in the car seat. You can also attach the Cocoon S, a soft bassinette that makes the stroller suitable from birth. The seat can be used up to four years, so it’s great once your little one starts nursery and is too tired to walk home afterwards. Inside the seat is a five-point harness that keeps your little one safe and the hood protects from sun, wind and rain and is UPG50+. The covers are machine washable, so you can keep it looking great for longer.
Chassis: The pushchair folds easily using just one hand and it locks and stands alone when folded. There’s also a carrying handle so it’s easy to pick it up and hold your baby in the other arm. The handle height is 103 cm but unfortunately is not adjustable.
Wheels: The stroller has four wheel suspension, so it’s great for bumpy streets. The wheels are small but sleek so it’s great for city streets and pavements but might struggle with really bumpy terrain.
Extras: It comes with a rain cover and shopping basket, so you won’t need to buy those. The car seat is sold separately. You can also add a travel bag, changing bag, organiser, footmuff, handlebar gloves, cup holder and car seat adaptors.
