Emmaljunga NXT90 Review

B Loves: A high spec and high performance travel system that’s as a good a double as it is a single.

Seat: The seat unit is reversible, so it can face the front or the parent and is a generous size, offering plenty of room even for tall and older children. It reclines through three positions so that your baby can nap on the go. The seat can be used from six months (use the carrycot before this). The hood is large with an extendable panel, and will protect against wind, rain or sun and it is water-repellent, so it’s not a problem if you forget the rain cover. It resists stains too, so it will stay looking good and will also protect your baby against the sun’s harmful rays, as it has a SPF of 50+. If your baby is getting very tall, there is a spacer available which will increase the height of the hood by 8cm. There is an adjustable footrest so that your baby’s legs and feet are supported.

Carrycot: Lightweight and of a fairly small and compact size, the carrycot is cosy and yet still takes a larger baby, as it is 76 cm long. It comes with its own mattress and apron and fits neatly on the chassis for a classic pram look for the first six months. It has its own hood, which conceals a carrying handle, making it easy to carry your baby into and out of your home and straight to the chassis when you want to go for a stroll in the park with your baby. The carrycot also folds up, so it is easy to store when not in use.

Chassis: The chassis is sleek and stylish and looks sturdy too, as it has to be if it is to carry two children. Made from aluminum chassis, it has the EasyFixTM attachment system, which allows you to quickly and easily attach the carrycot, seat unit and car seat adapters. The chassis folds easily and it automatically locks in place when folded to make it easy to store and carry.

The handle with gorgeous leather trim is adjustable to suit you whether you’re tall or short and as well as the telescopic adjustment, it also turns up or down – most pushchairs have only one form of adjustability or the other, so this means that everyone will be able to find a comfortable pushing position. There is a very large shopping basket that will easily hold a large changing bag or your shopping.

Wheels: The NXT90 has quick release air wheels which you can remove for storage or you can pop them off and slip them into a bag if they are very muddy, thus keeping your car boot or home clean. You can swap to one of three sets of fixed wheels, ideal for rough terrain – choose from Lounge, Outdoor or Competition wheels.

NXT90 is reliable and robust, comfortable air wheels and luxurious features that make walking your child a pleasure in terms of comfort, whether it’s in the city or off-road.

Extras: You can add the hood spacer, a parasol, an organiser bag, car seat adaptors, a raincover and the Adaptor Go Double, which allows you to click on the seat unit beneath a carrycot whe you have another child. There’s also an apron for the seat unit and a warm and cosy Winter Seat Liner. Older child that no longer wants to use the pushchair? Just add the Toddle Roller ride-on board.
