B Loves: No need to buy extras
Seat: Perfect as a second pushchair and for holidays when your child is small, this is a great price, and the carrycot is a good size and fits easily onto the chassis facing the parent. It can be used from birth to about six months. Inside is a mattress with a removable, machine washable cover, and there are clever storage pockets on the hood of the carrycot to hold your phone, purse and other bits and pieces. The seat unit also clips on easily but only has the option of facing the front – however, if you use the carrycot from birth, you do get that all-important backwards facing position. The seat has three recline positions, including lie flat, so it can be used from newborn. There’s a five point safety harness, plus a well padded bumper bar that opens for easy access. The seat’s hood has the same pockets as on the carrycot, which is a nice touch.
Chassis: The frame and wheels are easy to manoeuvre through the shops and across parks and city pavements. The chassis is nice and light and it is simple to fold though you do need two hands. If you want to turn the pushchair into a travel system, simply click the infant car seat straight onto the chassis – there’s no need to buy adaptors. The car seat is deep and well padded, with good side impact protection to keep your baby safe on car journeys. The shopping basket is large and with mesh sides, you’ll be able to see what’s in there but probably best not to overload with very heavy items.
Wheels: all four wheels are a good size and will offer a comfortable ride on all but the bumpiest ground and the larger rear wheels will help cope with step and curbs. The front wheels can be fixed in place or will swivel through 360 degrees, making tight corners easy to negotiate.
