B Loves: Converts from single to double quickly and easily

Seat: You can use the pushchair as a single, with a bassinet for newborns. This is formed from the seat unit in its lie-flat position, which opens out to create a cosy little bed for small babies, lined with a white liner. It looks just like a carrycot and the pushchair looks like far more costly brands, especially in this configuration. Then you can progress to the seat unit mode when they are six months old, which has a nice high ride position that’s good for your baby to be able to see what’s going on all around and also for you to be able to interact with your child, especially in the parent-facing position. This seat can face the front or the rear. The backrest is adjustable and the footrest has an amazing eight positions, so you’ll always find a position that supports your baby’s feet and legs and the bumper bar can be opened or removed to make getting your child in or out easier. If you then have a second child, you can add the second seat (suitable from six months) for an in-line tandem and it is easy to clip on. Both seats feature five-point harnesses for safety with padding for comfort and they have very generous hoods to protect your little one from rain and sun. The second seat is not quite as comfortable as the upper one, so it’s ideal if you have a toddler who like to walk a bit then ride a bit, and if the upper seat is reclined, the lower one needs to be too so that the toddler’s head has plenty of space. The seat covers and the hood are washable, which is a great feature and will keep it looking better for longer.

Chassis: A robust yet narrow frame that will take the weight of two large toddlers easily, it looks modern and stylish despite the affordable cost, with its black accents and brushed aluminium chassis. It is easy to steer and to push (and to get through shop doors) and the handle can be adjusted to be suitable to parents of any height. Underneath is an extremely generous shopping basket that will take a good amount of shopping – even those massive packs of nappies. Of course you will lose space when you have two children in the pushchair, as the toddler’s feet are in the basket. The braking system is positive and locks both back wheels securely.

Wheels: The rear wheels are a good, chunky size with puncture-proof tyres that need no maintenance. They have mud guards that not only prevent mud and rain spraying up at your child (and your ankles) but also keep the wheel safe from the child in the lower seat, who might otherwise touch them. The front wheels are smaller so that it’s easier to steer and they can be fixed in place or put into swivel mode with easy to use buttons above the wheel.

Extras: The second seat is included in the price, which is great, and so are raincovers for each seat. There is an apron for the seat unit when in bassinet mode. You can also add a Cosytoes for colder weather.
