B Loves: Complete travel solution for you and baby

Seat: The set arrives with all you need from birth. The hard parent-facing carrycot makes this look like an old fashioned pram and it has a nice hood and apron to shelter your little one from the elements, plus a mattress inside for occasional overnight use. It clicks easily on and off of the chassis. Once your little one has grown out of the carrycot at around four to six months, you can start to use the forward facing seat unit on the chassis. With an adjustable back and footrest, it’s possible to get a comfortable position for your baby whether awake or asleep and it will be suitable up to even three years. Reclining is easy thanks to a strap adjustment that allows you to choose any position between fully reclined and sitting up and the rear section of the hood is generous enough to make sure your baby is enclosed in a cosy cocoon. It has a good hood that you could remove if you want to – perhaps if it’s warm – and a bumper bar that can be opened from either side or removed completely to allow easy access for getting your baby in and out. Inside the seat is a padded five point harness. The car seat also slips easily onto the chassis using an integral adaptor in the arms and faces the parent.

Chassis: The chassis is large and chunky yet still manages to be quite light thanks to being made from aluminium. It has good shock absorption thanks to its suspension plus a large shopping basket with mesh sides, helping you see what’s in it. It folds compactly and fits into most car boots. The brake locks both rear wheels securely using a large, easy to see button that is on the rear axle and can be pushed both on and off with your toe, so no shoes will be scuffed. There’s a handy cup holder for mum or dad to use while pushing. The frame also curves around under the footrest, giving a hard place for the child’s feet to rest when they’re a bit older and keeping from making the fabric dirty with muddy shoes. Folding is easy – just pull up on two buttons on each side of the handle and the whole frame flips forward and down. Unfolding is just as simple.

Wheels: The rear wheels are big and will give a very smooth ride, while the front wheels are slightly smaller and can be fixed in line or can swivel at the push of a button.

Extras: The carrycot comes with a mosquito net, which is handy for summer strolls and the seat unit has a well fitting raincover that had Velcro loops at the sides to prevent it from blowing up in the wind. There’s a changing bag included.
