B Loves: Allows you to keep your baby facing the rear for longer

If you chose the the Maxi-Cosi Pebble as your Group 0+ car seat, this seat can be used with the same base, the FamilyFix Base to give you a solution that not only allows you to keep your baby facing the rear up to four years – the safest way for your baby to travel – but also complies with the new iSize regulations. It has been designed with a compact size, so getting it into most cars is not a problem, even if you need two or three car seats for children of different ages. It is deeply padded for a cosy ride, and it has five recline positions to allow for younger children to be more reclined or for nap time, sitting up as they grow and want to see what’s going on around them. Never recline the seat when driving. The padded sides give great side impact protection for your baby’s head and the safety harness has thick pads on the chest and crotch areas to keep your baby protected in the event of a crash and for comfort too. The harness has a neat feature – it will stay open on its own so it’s easier get your baby in and out of the seat and it is easy to tighten once you have clicked the buckle up, with just one pull of a strap between baby’s legs. There is a padded headrest to keep your child’s head positioned correctly, even if they nap, and another great feature is that the harness and the headrest can both be adjusted as your baby grows and this is accessed from the front, meaning you don’t have to remove the seat from the car to do this (never do when driving). Fitting is quite simple; first you install the FamilyFix base into car using the Isofix prongs and points and there’s a footprop, which drops down to make contact with the car’s floor. Light and sound indicators tell you that you have put it in correctly. Once the base is in, you just click Pearl straight onto it – once again, the sound and light indicators show when it’s safe.
