B Loves: Lightweight, simple to use, good base

A small, lightweight seat (4.2 kilos) with a rocking base, this is deeply padded and comes with a good safety record. It has a panel made from impact absorbing material to give your baby good side impact protection and it also has very good protection for the head. The easily adjusted handle is comfortable to hold inside is a five point harness with chest and crotch padding to keep your baby securely strapped in. As your baby grows, it is simple to adjust the headrest using a lever at the back of the seat. Before buying, do check that it will be suitable for your car as it doesn’t fit all but that is true of all car seats. Also, make sure the Recaro Isofix  base will fit as this is the safest and easiest way to use the seat – once the base is securely fitted into the car’s Isofix points, all you need to do is click the car seat on and off the base. The covers can be taken off and thrown in the washing machine and it does a clever trick – under the seat are slots which allow you to pop the seat on top of a supermarket trolley. Shopping with baby just got easier!
