Mee Go Milano Review

B Loves: A beautiful looking pushchair and really comfortable for your baby

If you like the look of a stylish, traditional pram but want the functionality of a 21st Century travel system, the Milano may be just what you’re looking for. It’s quite a large pushchair, which is fine if you have plenty of room at home but do make sure it fits into the boot of your car.

Carrycot: You can use the carrycot from birth and it has a gorgeous look; similar to the old fashioned coach-built prams but with a more contemporary wave-shaped under side and a cocoon-like hood. It has a base and mattress that can be raised to sit your little one up a little, so it’s good for babies with reflux. The hood has a ventilation panel and there’s a cosy apron too, giving overall protection for your baby from the elements. The carrycot is a generous size, so can be used for larger babies.

Seat: The seat is large and comfortable, fitting your child from six months to 15kg, which is about three to four years old. It can fit onto the chassis either facing the parent or facing the front. It comes in four colours and you can also choose a matching carrycot and car seat: Caviar, which is dark grey, Azurro, which is blue, Dove Grey and Glacier Grey. It’s really easy to change the direction of the seat as it just clicks on and off and you can do the same with the carrycot and car seat. The seat unit can be carried using the handle at the middle of the hood. The seat reclines through four positions, including flat – you adjust it with a lever on the back of the seat – so you can always find a comfortable position for your baby whether they are awake or asleep and it is very well cushioned. Putting your baby into the seat is easy and they are held by a five-point harness with a central buckle. You can adjust the harness to fit your child as they grow. It has a three-position adjustable leg rest for comfort.

Chassis: The chassis comes in your choice of black or white, to tone with the fabric colour you choose and in your choice of the Classic or Sport chassis. It offers a smooth and well suspended ride over even quite bouncy terrain. It has an adjustable handlebar through 76.5 to 119cm, so there’s a height to fit any parent even if you are very tall or short. The brake is easy to engage and release and it’s located in the centre of the rear of the chassis. Folding the pushchair has to be done in two arts; first you must remove the seat unit and then you fold the chassis with the simple folding mechanism. Both the seat and the chassis have carrying handles, so although you do have to lift both separately to put in the car boot or take into the house, it’s easy enough to carry. It locks together when folded. There is a good, though not very large, storage basket under the pushchair that holds 2kg and it has a lid to keep your belongings safe and away from prying eyes.

Wheels: It has good sized wheels, larger on the rear, and they all have suspension which helps with a smooth ride. The suspension is adjustable too.

Extras: You get lot of extras included in the package, so you don’t need to buy the rain cover, hand muffs a cup holder, carrycot, mosquito net, changing bag and car sat adapters. The only thing you’ll need to add is a car seat.
