A simple fabric sling that allows you to have your baby in a semi-foetal position and it is especially good for premature, newborn and low birth weight babies. It is made from soft, gentle fabric that will not be scratchy on baby skin and the baby’s weight is distributed fairly evenly across your body as it has two straps and a waist belt.It’s easy to use by simply wrapping it around you, then you slide your little one inside it, pulling the two sides close to keep your baby snug. As it goes over both shoulders, you can put your baby either side and as he grows, you can swap to having him on your hip to help carry a heavier child, or he can be upright facing the front or to you. It’s nice that you can pull the fabric right across to get some darkness for your baby if he needs a nap – though always make sure his nose and mouth are clear of the fabric and of your clothes. It can hold children up to 35lbs and it has its own storage bag. It can be machine washed. Try it out a few times with a doll or a teddy to get used to positions for the straps and for your baby
