Mutsy Igo Review

B Loves: Great and very compact fold – and such good looks too!

Seat: It has a good sized seat that can face either the front or the rear with the usual safety harness and pads and the seat can be reclined through several positions or laid flat, so you can use it right from birth. However, if you choose, you can add one of Mutsy’s stylish carrycots (LITE or Comfort) to provide a cosy bed for baby in the early months. The carrycot sits nice and high on the chassis so you can chat with baby, and it faces you. The hood is neat and though not enormous, gives good coverage and looks smart no matter what position it’s in – no sagging fabric in sight. It has a bumper bar and an adjustable footrest.

Chassis: You can fold the Igo frame very easily with the seat still in place and it is a compact fold. It locks together and stands alone when folded. The handle is adjustable too.

Wheels: You can choose from foam (sturdier and good for off-roading) or air tyres (lighter and good for the city) depending on your preference and all wheels are large and look light and airy thanks to the unusual design and the space around the centre of the wheel. The front wheels swivel 360° and all wheels can be removed for more compact storage.

Extras: There are plenty of accessories to choose from; changing bags, an unusual square parasol, foot muffs, a ride-on board for toddlers, UV and rain covers and a mosquito net. You can also add the carrycot or car seat.
