Peg Perego Primo Viaggio i-size review

This neat little first stage car seat will still be ael to clip nto your matching pushchair to make a stylish travel system but now it comes with i-Size too, keeping your baby safer from the day they are born to 83cm. The seat and base have been designed and tested to the higher R129 “i-Size” regulations and your baby travels rearwards, which is the safest way for your child to travel.

With a three-point safety harness and an internal cushion that has three stages to allow for your baby’s growth, this seat is a good looking and safe choice from the very first journey from hospital.

Internally, the seat has an energy-absorbing EPS-lined shell, which gives good protection if you were unlucky enough to be in a crash, plus it has built in spaces to let air circulation around, keeping baby cooler in the hotter weather. The headrest also has EPS inside it to imporve protection for your baby’s head.

With an ISOFIX base, this can be used with the base in the ISOFIX points but can also be used with the car’s seat belts (complies with R44/04 regulations). The base can also be used with the next stage car seat seat, the Peg Perego FF105 (sold separately), which will save you money in the longer term.

The Pagoda extendable hood offers great coverage of the seating area and provides UPF 50+ protection. The seat comes in two colours, Polo and Ebony.
