French Children’s Apparel Ltd. is delighted to announce the opening of France’s best-kept childrenswear secret, Sergent Major, in the UK with five stores in London.
The stores are in Hampstead, Westfield London, King’s Road, Battersea and Richmond and will also be sold online through the Sergent Major UK website.
Sergent Major launched in Paris in 1987 and today has an incredible 629 stores worldwide (of which 341 are in France). It has become a leading player in the childrenswear market in France and is committed to a worldwide expansion with stores in Europe, the Middle East, Asia and Latin America through a network of local partnerships. And now Sergent Major has marched over to London.
Sergent Major was created by fashion entrepreneur, Paul Zemmour, whose ambition it was to create a leading mid-range childrenswear brand. Over 30 years later, it continues to represent Zemmour’s original vision: value for money, accessible elegance and respect for the world of childhood.
Every collection is based around stories rather than themes, which are designed to express a child’s creativity. The designs are playful, colourful and are inspired by a child’s imagination and creativity. But above all they are soft and comfortable to wear, and are perfectly suited to work with a child’s active daily schedule.
The AW18 collection comes in ages 0 – 11 years and includes a back to school range, clothing for everyday wear, special occasion pieces, an outwear range ready for the cooler season as well as a newborn and toddler range.
The garments are made using the highest quality fabrics, something which Sergent Major has come to be known for, and which has enabled the brand to inspire its customers through style and creating loyalty through quality.
