Carrycot: A lovely little bed for your baby when they are very small, the carrycot can be used on the pushchair chassis from birth to around 4-6 months and it is also suitable for overnight sleeping, so it makes a great little bed for your baby to be next to you at night time; if you are travelling, you know that your baby will be able to sleep in a comfortable and familiar place. It comes with its own perfectly sized hood and apron so that you don’t have to use the one that comes on the seat unit, which is often a compromise. Inside is a gorgeously soft quilted liner and the carrycot clips quickly and easily onto the chassis.

Seat: The seat unit has three recline positions and it can be placed on the chassis facing either the front or the parent – it’s also really easy to clip it on, off and turn it around. It is covered with a gorgeously soft fabric made from premium twill and there are lovely little details everywhere, such as the diamond stitched seat areas and the contrasting pads for the buckle and the chest pads. The buckle itself is gorgeous, with the Silver Cross logo in the centre. It’s easy to use for the parent, with the chest and waist straps joined together at the buckle so you just have two clips to slip into the buckle and do it up with a satisfying snap. It would, however, be hard for a child to be able to push the button in, so no escapees!

In addition to the fabric that covers the seat unit, you also get a seat liner included in the set, which is double-sided. On one side, it’s faux fur and this will be super snuggly for the colder months. The reverse side is a contrast fabric to the seat unit and matches the chest pads. The liner helps you customise the look and it also means that you can wash the liner and keep the seat cleaner.

There is a quality bumper bar covered with leatherette and the Silver Cross logo, and it’s removable for ease of access.

The seat unit has a large and very well made SPF 50+ hood, which coveres your baby from the elements and there is also a neat rain cover that comes in its own little pouch. This is great, as you can slip it into your bag or the pushchair’s basket so that it’s always handy.

Chassis: The chassis is where you really understand the attention to detail that has gone into this pushchair. It’s sleek and glossy and functions smoothly and perfectly. From the adustable handlebar, which slides easily up and down at the push of a button, to the quick fold, every detail has been examined. The chassis has a high shine black finish with little details in an antique nickel finish. There is a really good sized shopping basket under the seat, which can easily be accessed from the front or the rear and that will hold your changing bag or a bag full of shopping. The brake is on the side of the rear chassis bar, easy to reach and it gives a firm lock when you want the pushchair to stay in place.

Wheels: The wheels are lovely. They have a chrome trim that catches the light in the daytime and will stand out at night too. The front wheels can be fixed in place or can be released to swivel, allowing for easy cornering which is fab in small shops. The rear wheels are larger and will glide over any surface, making for a smooth ride.

Extras: You can add a car seat and adaptors, plus a car seat base to turn your pushchair into a travel system.
