B Loves: Easy to interact with your child with the seat’s higher position
Seat: The Peach 3 has a well designed seat that is comfortable and supportive for your baby from a young age and it also comes with an optional elevator, which not only brings the seat up closer to the parent to allow for greater interaction with your child but it also means you can find a convenient position when eating out at cafes and restaurants. Simply bring the pushchair to the table. It has three recline positions for when baby is sleepy or wide awake and the seat pivots on the chassis simply by pressing two buttons, rather than having a reclining back section, so you might want to add the carrycot for the first few months to allow your baby to lie flat. It has a foot rest that flips up or down to find the most comfortable positions for your child’s legs and feet. The fabric is soft and well padded and there is a good five point harness to keep your baby safe and a leatherette bumper bar. The seat unit faces the front or the rear. It has a really nice hood too that stays in place where you put it and there’s a viewing window so you can keep an eye on your baby.
The carrycot can be used from birth and is a good size, with fabric to match the seat unit and a handle to carry it around with. It can be used for overnight sleeping as it has a ventilated base and rubber feet to keep it above the floor and clicks simply onto the chassis. It has a well padded mattress included in the price and there is also a rain cover. Use it with the hood and bumper bar from the Peach seat unit, or you can purchase a separate hood and bumper bar in any colour way. Use it until your baby can sit unaided or is 9kg. It also works with the elevators, so you can bring your baby closer to you. It folds flat when you are not using it, so is easy to store.
Chassis: The chassis is big and chunky with all-round suspension and makes it durable and sturdy and long lasting. It is also very curvaceous and the chrome accented with black is a stylish and modern look. The handle is adjustable through four positions and has a soft grip surface in leatherette that’s comfortable in the hand. There’s a good sized shopping basket too. There is an additional fitting you can get which converts the pushchair into a double, so there’s no need to by another pushchair when baby No 2 comes along – just get another seat, carrycot if you wish and the adaptors. The scissor fold is easy to do and it stands alone when folded.
Wheels: The rear puncture proof EVA wheels are very big and make for a smooth ride and they are also removable at the push of a button which is great if you’ve been for a ramble in the woods – just pop them off and into a plastic bag and you won’t get the car boot dirty. It’s also good if your car is on the small side, as this will make it more compact. The front wheels are slightly smaller for good manoeuverability and can be fixed in place or swivel.
Extras: You can buy the matching carrycot to use from birth or a car seat to make a travel system. There’s a second seat and several accessories such as a footmuff, seat liner, parasol, sunshade, cup holder and car seat adaptors. Add one of iCandy’s new bags for a stylish look.
