B Loves: very light, folds small, great for holidays

Although this is lightweight and good for nipping town and when you’re on holiday and need to travel light, this is not great as your sole pushchair, as it does not have a flat seat for small babies and the seat has only two positions. However, as a simple alternative to your main pram, it’s great for quick trips and getting around at the airport and is also ideal in hot weather, as its seat is made from a mesh fabric that allows air to circulate freely. You can also add a liner for colder days, but it will not be great in the winter. The hood is very small and has a viewing window so that you can make sure your baby is fine, and it comes with a generous rain cover that you could also use on windy days for a little more protection. The best thing about this pushchair is its small, lightweight chassis which make it easy to lift and move about and it has generous pneumatic wheels at the back, offering a comfortable ride over even quite rough terrain. It’s also easy to manouevre up and down stairs and up kerbs. When folded, you can pull it along behind you, which is great at the airport and on the beach. With one hand, you can fold it  simply, though you have to adopt quite an uncomfortable position, almost kneeling to do this. It locks together when folded, and stands alone. There is only a very small storage basket, and this can only be accessed from the front – it’s adequate but a little tricky. You can add a car seat which you clip onto the chassis to make a travel system.
